The 4-Speed Application Flow Control enables you to control the flow and volume of manure your dung spreader applies to the ground. Using the spreader’s front manual levers, adjust the rate of manure fed to the beater bars via the apron web between four different speeds to speed up or slow down your spreading. By controlling the output of manure, users can choose to empty their manure as fast as possible or slowly apply manure to maximize fertilization to specific areas in the pasture. Variable flow control also helps you adjust your small spreader to pulverize a broader range of manure types, consistencies, bedding materials, and stages of decomposition without causing damage to your ground driven manure spreader. Inline Shredding SystemShred Before You Spread
What makes ABI’s muck spreaders unique is how each model features a 2-stage inline shred and spread system designed to pulverize manure into fine shreds to help evenly spread fertilizer over the ground. The system includes two beater bars fitted with 32 blades to ensure every bit of manure is thoroughly shredded. Once the manure is fed through the beater bars, the manure fines are evenly distributed in a fine layer over the ground via ten spreading paddles on the back of your small manure spreader. By finely shredding manure before you spread it, more manure is exposed to the sun’s UV rays, helping it break down faster to encourage better pasture growth and reduce the risk of colic, odors, or pests.
Protective Box LinerAn Industrial-Grade Seal to Guard Your Steel
Each ABI spreader box comes standard with an industrial-grade box liner to create a better seal against manure leakage. Our engineers use a special epoxy liner to coat the inside of the manure spreader box, giving it an impermeable and smooth protective seal that can resist severe corrosion or abrasion from urine-filled manure. Since epoxy liners are often used to protect underground sewage tanks and pipelines, you operate your small manure spreader with ease knowing the spreader box is secured from corrosion due its heavy-duty protective liner.
Lifetime Poly-Lumber FlooringFor Maximum Manure Loading & Towing
The bottom flooring of our small manure spreaders is made of a premium tongue-and-groove polyvinyl lumber. The spreader’s poly-lumber flooring is extremely thick to ensure your spreader can support heavy manure loads, allowing you to load your manure spreader up to maximum capacity. Better yet, the tongue-and-groove construction of the poly-boards prevents excessive warping, wear, or damage to the apron web. Assembled using interlocking chains and slats, the apron web ensures your small manure spreader releases a stable, consistent rate of fertilizer at your desired speed. Better yet, the chains and slats are made from high-quality stainless steel, making the web chemically resistant to corrosion from urine-laced manure. When operating your spreader, the apron web is driven via the advanced ground drive system from the left wheel, causing it to move and push manure towards the back. With the right wheel running the beater bars, the apron web pushes manure out the back, ensuring everything is finely shredded and spread over the soil as you tow.
Commercial-Grade CoatingProtect Components from Extreme Corrosion
All components on our dung spreaders get a premium 2-ply commercial-grade coating for additional protection against corrosion. After being sand-blasted to ensure perfect adhesion of the paint, the components are coated in a black gloss acrylic urethane paint (PPG AUE-370) that’s twice as thick as Rust-Oleum which can be easily repaired or touched up during future maintenance. The ground drive system works by connecting the wheels of the manure spreader to operate and drive power to specific components. The right wheel drives the beater bars system that shreds and spreads manure, while the left wheel drives the apron chain in the spreader box which pushes manure towards the beaters and out of the dung spreader. What’s more, the wheels are designed to move in unison, keeping the components at compatible operating speeds while also maximizing traction for your spreader. Swing-Away Jack with Wheel DollyQuick & Easy Hookup to Small Tow Vehicles
The swing-away jack crank makes it easy to hookup or detach an ABI small manure spreader to your ATV, UTV, or other small tow vehicle. It also includes a wheel dolly that can be used to manually maneuver the attachment into a garage, tool shed, barn, or other tight spaces for storage. If your barn lacks pass-through aisles, the swing-away jack with wheel dolly enables you to manually push your muck spreader between paddocks so you can conveniently muck manure directly from the stall to the spreader.

Block Off Flying Debris
To protect operators and equipment from flying manure, add on the optional manual end gate and shield. By closing off the back of the spreader, the end gate acts as a shield to block you and your tow vehicle from being covered in flying manure or debris. An additional benefit to closing the back of your small manure spreader is the end gate prevents manure from clogging the beater bars during loading, allowing you to fill your spreader to maximum capacity without issue.
Pasture/ Fines/ Litter PanKeep Clumps Out of Your Pasture
Using the optional fines pan, be sure to shred every bit of manure in your dung spreader and prevent stray clumps from hitting the ground. Attached directly behind the spreader, the fines pan catches and brings any fallen clumps of manure back into the beaters to be finely shredded. Including a fines pan is especially useful for catching smaller litter produced by poultry. The optional pan also features a release for easy cleaning or replacement.

After researching spreaders for two years I decided to buy the ABI 50cf spreader because I wanted to be able to pull it with my Yamaha 550 ATV. I also wanted the "BEST" on the market (because I only wanted to have to buy one...ever). After two seasons of spreading I can say that it is easy to use, maneuver, clean/maintain and spreads great. ABI was very helpful and patient with all my questions. Congrats to you all!
We purchased the ABI 50 Manure Spreader to support our Draft horse operation in Schellsburg, PA. Having seven draft horses produces a lot of Manure, and this spreader was a welcome addition to the farm. Before the purchase, we were offloading our Manure each week in a 4-yard dumpster. Now I can load the Spreader over four days and spread the manure over my pastures and our neighbor's pastures on the fourth day.
This spreader does an excellent job of breaking up the horse apples into small pieces. This is highly necessary for the damp climate here in Pennsylvania to keep fly and parasite larvae under control.

We bought the 50 ground drive. It is very well built and worth the extra money. Spreads evenly and beaks up large clumps. We have 9 horses, we sweep the pasture every other day and clean stalls everyday. We compost with a mixture of fertilizer then spread every 2 months. Makes great top dressing. We can spread a very thin layer with the adjustable feed on the A.B.I. I would purchase it again and would highly recommend it. Oh and the customer service is unbelievably good. After a year they even sent a hand written Thank you card asking if there was anything they could help me with. Buy USA

Initially, I was hesitant to talk with someone before even knowing the price range of the product. R.Dunn understood my concern and made sure I had all the info I needed before our phone conversation. I have a very tight schedule with the military and he was very accommodating. I was pleased that I felt like I was receiving true customer service versus talking to a pushy sales rep. We purchased the 50 and are very happy with our purchase. Sometimes we have as much dirty hay as manure and this spreader does a great job of spreading it. Could not be more happy with it.
This is our 2nd spreader from ABI. We had another brand prior to but are so happy with ABI. The customer service is second to none. In South Florida, we have a lot of rust issues but our spreader holds up well.
We are very happy with our purchase. We looked at two other brands and the construction just doesn't even compare to ABI manure spreaders. We bought the 50 and including all the freight costs we still saved money.
Built like a tank. I had a similar Mill Creek spreader that lasted 11 trouble free years of daily use. Was probably repairable but since I had a lot of underbelly component rust, I replaced it w the ABi Classic 50. The ABi is much heavier built. Since we wash the spreader out (including underneath) after each daily use, I expect it to last a long time. The 50 easily handles 6 stalls and works great w our Gator as propulsion. It has a multi-speed spread function that enables control of how fast the spreader empties. The spring that controls it broke after six months; in the idle position it caused contact w sprocket and chain anyway so we have not replaced it...defaults to slow empty w/o the spring but thatÕs how we use it anyway. Multi-speed emptying is a nice feature but ABi needs to engineer it better so it is more durable and doesnÕt cause that annoying ringing of sprocket contact w drive chain in travel position. A very nice spreader...I originally bought the ABi Elite spreader but very soon exchanged it for the Classic. DonÕt buy the Elite if itÕs still

Awesome machine! I am new horse owner and I quickly learned that Shires produce a massive amount of manure. After searching online I stumbled on the ABI website and it seemed like the perfect solution. I called ABI and spoke to Pat, and after a brief conversation, he recommended the 50 cubic ft model. The spreader arrived a few days later and as soon as I saw it I could tell I made the right decision. This unit is super high quality and solidly built...almost felt bad getting it dirty! Great machine. We love our spreader. We have owned it for over a year. It works as hard as we do. We clean 15 to 20 stalls everyday and it has never missed a beat.
Love this. It works great and the manure I spread just melts into the earth. It chops it up well. I donÕt have the strength any more to push wheelbarrow into field to spread and with this spreader the manure does not smother grass. It was worth the investment.
Downsized and replaced large pto spreader. Very pleased with abi 50 bu ground drive spreader. Size is perfect to be pulled by atv and get around in small places. Plus it fits nicely in barn to load on daily cleaning. The quality is excellent

Works very well for our small farm. Easy to load by shovel, easy to pull with small Ford tractor. I wish I had a larger farm and a front-end loader and I would get a larger spreader. We call ours our own politician because it spreads manure well.

Extremely easy to mount the tongue and was ready for use in less than 45 minutes. We have used it 2-3 times per week for 3 months and it works perfectly every time. Very happy with this purchase. Fine piece, well built. My wife and I purchased a 200 acre farm last year. We have a small stable business, 12 horses total. Obviously that comes with manure. I bought two items from ABI last year, one of which was the 50 cubic foot ground spreader. There are several advantages to having this type of spreader. One the somewhat compact size, fits perfectly in the barn aisle. Two, the size is perfect for towing behind an ATV or our compact tractor. Third, the size makes it easy to move by hand to adjust the tow bar for hook up. My wife found the use a breeze. The spreader is VERY well built versus it's competators. It sits outside almost all year and has given us no problems, looks and operates like brand new. Just needs a little grease once in a while and a spray off with the hose. It spreads like a house on fire. I highly recommend ABI products. Good advice from the agents, well built products, quick delivery and excellent support throughout the entire process. 50 cubic ground driven spreader. Totally AWESOME! Had been hand wringing on what to do with the pile of manure that I would haul out with a two-wheel barrow to the pile and then pile higher with a skid loader. After reviewing several brands over two years, I settled on ABI. Customer service was incredible! WasnÕt pushy and actually followed through on call backs to see how things were going. After a year of back and forth phone calls , I bought the 50. Not cheap, but money well spent. Have a 30 horse Kubota I haul it with and made 27 trips of the initial pile the first weekend I got it. Well made and tough as nails. Would HIGHLY recommend it to any small farmer like myself.

Purchased a 65 cuft ground drive two years ago and I really appreciate how much easier barn cleanup is now. It is small enough to pull behind an XUV and drive straight through the barn. I can clean four stalls in half the time since i am shoveling directly into the spreader and not using a wheelbarrow. Plus there are fewer stable flies since manure is spread immediately and not piled up.ÊQuality is very good. After two years, there is no rust.
